Lucy Harris
Lucy is obsessed with anything tiny, cute and a bit weird looking. Her picture book stories are usually fed by things like folk tales, old stones, lovely walks or strange insects people send her on Tiktok.
Lucy lives in South London, having moved back there after completing the MA Children’s Book Illustration course at Cambridge School of Art in Spring 2024. She works mainly with watercolour, pastel and pencil and can usually be found outside, gathering colour palettes and ideas from nature.
With her illustrations she always aims to create a sense of playfulness and warmth, and encourage a little escape from the real world that we so often need.
