Lara Hawthorne
Lara lives and works in Bristol. She studied illustration at Falmouth University, graduating in 2013.
Lara’s first illustrated book was Carol Ann Duffy’s 2016 Christmas poem, The King of Christmas, published by Picador. Since then she has been writing and illustrating picture books and children’s non-fiction projects for Templar, Farshore and Frances Lincoln.
* Lara is currently quite unwell and is regretfully unable to take on new illustration commissions for the time being. She very much intends to resume work as soon as her health allows. *
