Emily writes quirky, heartfelt teen fiction.

Before training as a primary school teacher, she had lots of weird and wonderful jobs - working in a wedding dress boutique, putting the jam in donuts and sorting donations in a charity shop to name just a few.

Emily grew up riding horses in the West Country. She now lives in North London, where there are fewer horses but way more decent charity shops.
