Dide Tengiz
Dide is an illustrator based in Bristol. She studied her BA in Illustration at UWE and graduated from her MA in Children's Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art in 2021.
Dide’s work was highly commended in the Macmillan Prize for Illustration 2021 and 2018, and she won the Picture Hooks ‘Winter Comforts’ competition in 2020.
She loves finding a narrative within everyday life and creating stories from those simple ideas. She also enjoys exploring traditional folklore and tales that can be given modern adaptations, especially drawing on her Turkish heritage.
