Lisa Sheehan

Lisa studied for her BA in illustration at Kingston University and then fell into the world of graphic design, spending the next fifteen years as graphic designer and art director for the Financial Times.

In 2015 she graduated from the MA in Children’s Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art. While on the course, she created the illustrations for The Find It Book, with a text by Margaret Wise Brown (author of Goodnight Moon), published by Paragon. This was shortlisted for the AOI World Illustration awards in the New Talent category.

Lisa lives in Bedfordshire with her family and a very large ginger cat. Her most recent picture book Lionel and the Lion’s Share, written by Lou Peacock, was published by Nosy Crow in January 2018.
