Francoise Harvey is writing ghostly middle grade fiction.
She has had stories and poems published in a number of literary magazines and anthologies, including in 'Best British Short Stories 2017' (Salt Publishing), and in 2017 she won a Northern Writers Award for Children's and YA writing.
She currently works at a writing magazine, and is also a singer-songwriter.
She lives with her partner and two huskies in Darlington. Before this she lived in Belgium (where she was born), Lincolnshire, the Isle of Man (where her family still is), North Wales and London. She settled in the North East a few years ago and loves it there. She would like to stay for a while.
